ShanghaiTech Symposium on Data Science (SSDS) 2015
Background
ShanghaiTech Symposium on Data Science (SSDS 2015) aims to promote research in mathematical sciences and computational technologies that are fundamental to modern massive data processing and analysis. Related research areas include but are not limited to compressive sensing, optimization, machine learning, computer systems, cloud computing, and a wide range of engineering applications. The Symposium gathers some of the most renowned researchers in the world in the above areas to present their latest research work and to discuss future research directions of Data Science.
The Symposium brings the latest research developments to young faculty members and graduate students in China, especially in the neighboring areas of Shanghai. In conjunction with the Symposium, we also offer a few tutorials on some of the most active research topics, including sparse representation, cloud computing, parallel and distributed optimization, and deep learning. There is no registration fee for both the symposium and the tutorials. Please register here.
The symposium is hosted by School of Information Science and Technology, ShanghaiTech University.
